Himachal & The Golden Triangle

DAY 1 – DELHI - Arrive in Delhi, the capital of India. You will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Stay overnight at a hotel in central Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2 - SHIMLA (B) - Early morning transfer from the hotel to New Delhi railway station, to board the early train to Kalka and thereafter to connect with the famous toy train to Shimla, a popular hill station, famous for its British influence and also the capital of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival in Shimla, you will be met and transferred to you hotel where you will spend two nights.

DAY 3 - SHIMLA (B) - A half-day tour of Shimla awaits you with the choice to spend the rest of the day as you please, exploring the narrow but bustling lanes of this hill city.

DAY 4 - MANALI (B) - A long drive through the hills takes you to Manali, the foothills of the Himalayas. Stay for three nights at Manali.

DAY 5 & 6 - MANALI (B) - Explore Manali and all it has to offer without haste. There are a number of optional activities like visiting the Rohtang pass, Old Manali, Hadimba Temple or Naggar Fort. Alternatively you can opt for an excursion to the Solang Valley to try your skills at paragliding or zorbing, or take a dip in the Vashisht hot springs.

DAY 7 - DHARAMSALA (B) - Drive through the mountains to Dharamsala - home to H.H the Dalai Lama. Stay for three nights at a hotel in McLeodganj or lower Dharamsala (depending on availability).

DAY 8 & 9 - DHARAMSALA (B) - Explore Dharamsala in the best way there is, on your own, taking in the place in all its splendour. Alternatively we can arrange for you to go on a full day optional mini trek to Triund and back. The Dalai Lama Complex is a must-see in McLeodganj. Other optional activities are visiting the Church of St. John, The War memorial or the Norbulingka institute.

DAY 10 - TRAIN (B) – The day is yours to do as you like. Late afternoon, you will take a three hour drive from Dharamsala to Chakki Bank railway station, to board the overnight train to Jaipur.

DAY 11 – JAIPUR - On arrival at Jaipur, you will be met and transferred from the railway station to a hotel or home-stay for a comfortable two-night stay. In the afternoon, after a hearty lunch, visit the magnificent Amber Fort.

DAY 12 - JAIPUR (B) – After breakfast, enjoy a half-day city tour of Jaipur including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal & Jantar Mantar. Spend the rest of the afternoon as you please, a cycle-rickshaw ride in the old city is highly recommended.

DAY 13 - AGRA (B) - Depart for Agra at 09:00. On the way you have the opportunity to visit some sights such as Galta, Bharatpur and Fatehpur Sikri. Stay for two nights at a central hotel in Agra.

DAY 14 - AGRA (B) – Morning half day sightseeing tour of Agra, comprising the Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can opt to go back to the Taj Mahal or visit some of the other lesser known sights like the Baby Taj, The Rambagh Gardens & the Tomb of Itimad ud Daulah

DAY 15 - DELHI (B) - Today drive straight to Delhi International Airport to connect with your onward flight.


Tour Includes:

  • Accommodation on twin share basis at selected hotels
  • Meals as mentioned (B= Breakfast, L= Lunch, D= Dinner)
  • Transport for the long distance on sectors Shimla/Manali, Manali/Dharamsala, Dharamsala/Chakki Bank, Jaipur/Agra & Agra/Delhi will be by air-conditioned transport with private chauffeur. (The vehicle allotted will be based on the number of pax on tour)
  • Morning train Delhi/Kalka travel in AC Chair car. Connecting train Kalka/Shimla in 2nd class Non AC.
  • Overnight train on sector Chakki Bank/Jaipur will be in AC 2-tier or 3-tier depending on availability.
  • Guided tours of Shimla, Jaipur & Agra.
  • Arrival & departure transfers as mentioned in the itinerary.
  • All current applicable taxes


Tour Excludes:

  • Tips to any of the services providers like the drivers, bell boys, housekeeping and restaurant staff.
  • Services, Meals and Drinks other than those mentioned in the itinerary
  • Laundry, telephone calls and expenditure of a personal nature
  • Entrance fees and extra charges for still camera and video camera.
  • Travel Insurance (Compulsory for your benefit)


Points to be noted:

  • The Taj Mahal is open every day except Fridays.
  • In the hill regions, it is neither advisable to use small vehicles or very large ones. Hence, we will use  vehicles such as Toyota Innova or similar vehicles A maximum of four pax in one vehicle is allowed for comfortable seating.
  • Number of pax allowed on tour: Minimum 1 pax. Maximum pax 15
  • Please note that early check in is subject to availability, so there might be a wait until a room becomes available, especially when you arrive by train from Chakki Bank to Jaipur
