From Bollywood to the Goan Beaches

DAY 1 - MUMBAI - You arrive at Mumbai, the city that never sleeps. At the International airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel which will be your home for the next 5 nights.

DAY 2 - MUMBAI - Morning guided sightseeing of Mumbai takes you to some of Mumbai’s famous sites like Gateway of India, Haji Ali and the Flora Fountain, among others. Spend the afternoon at leisure in India's busiest city.

DAY 3 – MUMBAI - Morning visit to Dharavi slums, for its unknown markets, manufacturing grids, one-room cinemas, public schools and shanties. From here you visit Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest open air laundry.

DAY 4 – MUMBAI
- After breakfast transfer to the ‘Gateway of India’ boat jetty to board the 09:00 ferry to Elephanta Caves, a World Heritage Site, famous for its unique architecture. Spend the evening browsing around Colaba Causeway, shopping for cheap bargains and exquisite antiques.

DAY 5 – MUMBAI
– Spend the day as per your whims and fancy, taking in the majestic city or visiting some of the places suggested by our local guides.

DAY 6 – GOA - After breakfast, you will be transferred from the hotel to the Mumbai Domestic airport to board the flight to Goa, the land of sun and sea. On arrival at the Goa airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will stay for four nights.

DAY 7 – GOA
– Half-day sightseeing of the churches of Old Goa, Panjim & Dona Paula. Spend the remainder of the day to relax and unwind at your own pace.

DAY 8 – GOA – Spend the whole day pampering yourself, go for a massage or relax by the pool. In the evening enjoy an authentic Goan dinner at the home of a local Goan Portuguese- speaking family.

DAY 9 – GOA – Spend the entire day basking in the sunshine, exploring the gorgeous beaches, whitewashed churches, exotic markets and delicious food or simply relax, book a massage or sit by the pool.

DAY 10 – GOA - After breakfast, you will be transferred to Goa airport to connect with your onward flight. Your tour ends on arrival at the Goa airport.

  • Accommodation on twin share basis at selected hotels
  • Meals as per the itinerary (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner)

  • Half day sightseeing of Mumbai and Goa with an English speaking guide and an air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Half day excursion to Dharavi via Chor Bazaar & Dobhi Ghat with an English Speaking Guide and air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Half day excursion to Elephanta Caves with an English Speaking Guide, air-conditioned vehicle and local representative and boat tickets.
  • Dinner at the home of a local Goan Portuguese speaking family (incl. transfers from & to the hotel).
  • All current applicable taxes

 

Tour Price Excludes:

  • Tips to any of the services providers like the drivers, bell boys, housekeeping and restaurant staff.
  • Services, Meals and Drinks other than those mentioned in the itinerary
  • Laundry, telephone calls and expenditure of a personal nature
  • Entrance fees and extra charges for still camera and video camera.
  • Travel Insurance (Compulsory for your benefit)
  • Flight cost for sector Mumbai/Goa which will be purchased on an instant purchase fare basis at the time of the confirmation of the tour. Flight tickets once issued will be non-refundable.

 

Points to be noted:

  • The Elephanta Caves are open all days of the week except Mondays.
  • Number of pax allowed on tour: Minimum 2 pax. Maximum pax 12.
  • We recommend that you organise your stay in Goa to either get the Wednesday morning Anjuna flea market or the Arpora Saturday night market (operates from November to April only)
